Community giving at Chorus Aviation is enabled through corporate funding, and brought to life through subsidiary leadership, volunteerism and employee engagement. Chorus allocates community investment funding at the enterprise level, while subsidiaries direct and invest those funds locally – identifying causes that matter most in their communities and delivering impact where it is most meaningful. This model allows Chorus to amplify local action while ensuring alignment with shared priorities, including inclusivity and social leadership across the aviation sector. In 2025, this collective approach supported healthier, more resilient communities, with over $200,000 invested in initiatives focused on Healthy Communities and Inclusive Skies through the Chorus Contributes program, reinforcing the organization’s commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion.
Additionally, employees across the Chorus group companies contributed over 10,000 volunteer hours to worthy causes year‑round. This support formed part of ongoing community engagement, including in‑kind aviation experiences, community open house events, outreach and volunteer support for aviation diversity organizations, and investments in social and skills development, charitable causes, and community leadership.

Building Futures: African Nova Scotian Engineering Scholarship (Chorus)
In 2025, Chorus launched the African Nova Scotian Engineering Scholarship, a five‑year, $50,000 endowed commitment to Dalhousie University. Pledged during the inaugural year of Dalhousie’s Inclusive Pathways to Engineering Careers program, the scholarship expands access to engineering education for African Nova Scotian students and supports the development of a more inclusive talent pipeline in disciplines foundational to aviation and aerospace. The 2025 commitment meaningfully expanded Chorus’ historic contribution to the engineering training field.

As a team that deeply cares for its communities, Voyageur delivered sustained in‑kind and monetary support throughout the year, reflecting its people‑driven culture and aviation expertise. One example is their support of the Trojan Parade for Cancer, a long‑standing West Ferris Secondary School tradition in North Bay, where Voyageur recognized student leadership by providing scenic flight experiences to top pledge earners in support of local cancer care and research.

Creating Opportunities Through Fundy Scoops (Jazz)
At Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colchester East Hants in North River, Nova Scotia, mentorship is more than a program – it’s a pathway to possibility. That mission received a sweet boost thanks to a donation from the Jazz Blue Skies Foundation directed toward the organization’s social enterprise, Fundy Scoops Dairy Bar.
Fundy Scoops is a youth-operated ice cream business that does more than serve delicious treats. Through this initiative, youths develop transferable skills in customer service, teamwork, and business operations. These experiences help prepare them for future opportunities in the community and in their careers.

In 2025, Cygnet Aviation supported Hope Air, a national charity that helps bridge the distance between patients’ homes and the medical care they need. Cygnet helped advance Hope Air’s mission to ensure that access to healthcare is not determined by geography—allowing patients and families to focus on healing rather than the burden of travel. It was one of many efforts throughout the year by Cygnet’s team of instructors, flight trainers, and aviation experts, helping elevate, inspire, and create important pathways for those in their communities.
