A message from Colin Copp

It is a pleasure to introduce Chorus’ third annual Sustainability Report for the year 2023. As a leading regional aviation solutions provider, we recognize our responsibility to grow sustainably. This means prioritizing safety and ethics, taking into account climate-related risks, the diversity of our workforce, supporting our employees’ efforts at community engagement and holding ourselves accountable by publicly reporting our progress against the sustainability targets we’ve set.

I invite you to read this report summarizing our sustainability efforts and progress, and I welcome your questions and comments.

2023 Highlights

Awards

Increased the percentage of women in our workforce from 37% to 38.5% and within our senior leadership team from 28.6% to 35.2%

Established the foundation of an anti-modern slavery program under Canada’s new Modern Slavery Act with Chorus’ first report published in Q2 2024

Implemented a new Human Rights Policy and Supplier Code of Ethics

Increased the number of vendors included in our third-party data protection process by 64%

Signed the Aircraft Leasing Ireland (ALI) Sustainability Charter

Obtained a “C” rating from CDP, indicating awareness-level climate engagement

Sustainability Targets

  • Strive to achieve net-zero greenhouse gas (“GHG”) emissions within our operations by 2050

  • Increase the representation of employees from each designated group by at least 10% between 2022 and 2027

  • Increase overall (combined) diversity within our leadership team to at least 50% between 2022 and 2027

  • Continue commitment to BlackNorth Initiative goals to help address anti-Black systemic racism

  • Increase representation of women within leadership roles to 30% between 2022 and 2027

  • Ensure that leadership development programs include participants from Designated Groups at a percentage that meets or exceeds Chorus’ five-year leadership representation goals
